Joyryde Songs
Jon Ford, (born 24 July 1985) better known by his stage name Joyryde (stylised as JOYRYDE), is an English DJ and producer, son of John Ford (also known as John Phantasm and owner of Phantasm Records). Early career Inspired by his father John Phantasm (and consequently the music he heard playing at home when he was young), Ford started producing his own music in the studio from the age of 9 but did not begin DJing worldwide until he was 13. Wrapped up in the life of DJing, Ford did not return to the studio until he was 15, which was when he 'wanted to get back into the producing part of it since the music was getting more technical'. Not until then did he start producing under the name of Eskimo. The name was chosen because it bears no connection 'to the product'. At age 17 he released his first album ''Can You Pick Me Up''. ''Brave'' is the debut studio album by English DJ and producer Joyryde, also known as John Ford. It was released by Hard Recs on 3 April 2020. The album consists of 18 songs and features guest appearances from Mika Means, NoLay, Majilla, Youngs Teflon, Fze, and Gold. "Damn" is included as a bonus track, which features Freddie Gibbs. ''Brave'' incorporates five distinct genres of bass house, trap, hip hop, grime, and UK bass. The themes of it reflect Ford's passion for music, energy, attitudes, and culture. Four songs were released as singles in 2019: " I'm Gone", " Yuck", which features Gold, " Madden", and "Selecta 19". Fans believed that "Agen Wida", Joyryde's collaboration with Skrillex, was the album's lead single; the ultimate release of "I'm Gone" as the first single disproved this. Gary Richards (born on December 31, 1970), known by his stage name Destructo, is an American music executive, concert promoter, and DJ. As of September 1, 2017, he is the President of LiveStyle, North America. Prior to joining LiveStyle, he was the founder and CEO of HARD Events, a concert brand that has put on popular music festivals since 2007, and which was acquired in 2012 by Live Nation Entertainment. He has performed professionally as a DJ under the name Destructo for over 20 years, having toured around the world. He is credited with being a leader in the Electronic music business in North America, and through his events, has helped bring artists like Deadmau5 and Justice into the mainstream. Sam Vogel, also known by his stage name Jauz ( ), is an American DJ and electronic dance music producer based in San Francisco, United States. He founded his own record label, Bite This, in 2017. Early life Vogel grew up in Northern California. He began playing guitar and producing electronic music on his computer at the age of 15. He went to Icon Collective music production school. He previously went to a film school in Loyola Marymount University where he joined Kappa Sigma before deciding to pursue a musical career, prompting him to enroll in Icon Collective. Fredrick Jamel Tipton (born June 14, 1982), better known by his stage name Freddie Gibbs, is an American rapper from Gary, Indiana. After initially being signed to Interscope Records in 2006, Gibbs recorded his debut studio album under the label. However, he was eventually dropped and the album was cancelled.
