Joyce Vermue
Joyce Vermue (born 22 June 1985) is a Dutch politician. She was a member of the House of Representatives (Netherlands), House of Representatives of the Netherlands for the Labour Party (Netherlands), Labour Party between 22 September 2015 and 23 March 2017. She has been mayor of Zundert since July 2019. Career Vermue was born on 22 June 1985 in Oostburg. After completing her high school education in Oostburg she studied social work at the Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda between 2002 and 2006 and obtained a BA. She earned a further MA in 2011. Vermue has worked for social work foundations since 2005 and has served as director of the Stichting Welzijn in West Zeelandic Flanders since September 2014. Vermue was member of the municipal council of Sluis for the Labour Party (Netherlands), Labour Party between April 2010 and September 2013. Zundert
Zundert () is a Municipalities of the Netherlands, municipality and town in the south of the Netherlands bordering Belgium, in the province of North Brabant. Zundert is the birthplace of Post-impressionism, post-impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh. History The name of Zundert is first mentioned in a certificate dating from 1157, in which the Prince-Bishopric of Liège, Bishop of Liege confirms a donation from the place "Sunderda". This Sunderda actually relates to the current settlement of Klein-Zundert (Dutch for Small Zundert), one of the first settlements in the area. The local monks, besides their religious labour, were also involved in clearing the land, that was still rough territory, filled with swamps, peats and heath fields. The monks also assisted in improving agricultural methods. Martijn Van Dam
Martinus Hendricus Petrus "Martijn" van Dam (born 1 February 1978) is a Dutch engineer and politician. A member of the Labour Party (PvdA), he served as State Secretary for Economic Affairs from 3 November 2015 until 1 September 2017 in the Second Rutte cabinet. He was a member of the House of Representatives between 2003 and 2015. He previously served as councillor for the municipality of Eindhoven from April 1998 to January 2003. From the time he entered the States General on 30 January 2003 to 29 November 2006 he was the youngest member of the House. Education Van Dam was born in Zoetermeer and grew up in Huissen.
