Joyce Powell
Ivy Joyce Powell (; 25 May 1922 – 14 June 2003) was a New Zealand cricketer who played as a wicket-keeper and right-handed Batting (cricket), batter. She appeared in seven Women's Test cricket, Test matches for New Zealand women's national cricket team, New Zealand between 1954 and 1961. She played domestic cricket for Auckland Hearts, Auckland for 15 years. Matamata () is a town in Waikato, New Zealand. It is located near the base of the Kaimai Ranges, and is a thriving farming area known for Thoroughbred horse breeding and training pursuits. It is part of the Matamata-Piako District, which takes in the surrounding rural areas, as well as Morrinsville and Te Aroha. State Highway 27 and the Kinleith Branch railway run through the town.
