Joyce Farmer (born 1938 in Los Angeles, California)Vankin, Deborah"R. She was a participant in the underground comix movement. With Lyn Chevli, she created the feminist anthology comic book series '' Tits & Clits Comix'' in 1972. Biography Joyce Farmer was born in 1938. Some of her earliest work is signed ''Joyce Sutton'', causing people to believe this is her birth name., rather than her husband’s. She changed her legal name back to Farmer in the mid 1970s. In addition to ''Tits & Clits'', Farmer helped produce an underground comic about abortion, ''Abortion Eve'', in 1973. The artist or writer dips the brush, quill, or dip pen into the inkwell as needed or uses the inkwell as the source for filling the reservoir of a fountain pen. An inkwell usually has a lid to prevent contamination, evaporation, accidental spillage, and excessive exposure to air. A type known as the travelling inkwell was fitted with a secure, screw lid so a traveller could carry a supply of ink in their luggage without the risk of leakage. Robert Dennis Crumb (; born August 30, 1943) is an American cartoonist and musician who often signs his work R. Crumb. His work displays a nostalgia for American folk culture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and satire of contemporary American culture. Crumb is a prolific artist and contributed to many of the seminal works of the underground comix movement in the 1960s, including being a founder of the first successful underground comix publication, ''Zap Comix'', contributing to all 16 issues. He was additionally contributing to the ''East Village Other'' and many other publications, including a variety of one-off and anthology comics.
