Raymond Cannon (actor)
Raymond Cannon (born Ulises Tildmann Cannon; September 1, 1892 – June 7, 1977) was an American actor, film director, screenwriter, journalist, and author known for his work with D. W. Griffith and Buster Keaton. Background Ulises Tillman Cannon was born September 1, 1892 in Long Hollow, Tennessee to Newton Cannon and Sarah Lincoln Bolinger. In 1910 he was working at a soda fountain in Knoxville, but after leaving divinity school, he moved west, performing in vaudeville and working as a journalist in Dallas and Fort Worth. In April 1918, Cannon became a journalist for Elmer M. Robbins' weekly magazine ''Camera! The Digest of the Motion Picture Industry''. E.M. Robbins died in 1920 and Cannon bought the magazine in 1921, co-publishing it with Lola B Robbins until he sold his interest in 1922. Paul Henri Benjamin Balluet d'Estournelles de Constant, Baron de Constant de Rebecque (22 November 1852 – 15 May 1924), was a French diplomat and politician, advocate of international arbitration and winner of the 1909 Nobel Prize for Peace. Foxes are small to medium-sized, omnivorous mammals belonging to several genera of the family Canidae. Dorothy Ward
Dorothy Ward (26 April 1890 – 30 March 1987) was an English actress who specialised in pantomimes, playing the principal boy roles, while her husband Shaun Glenville would play the dame roles. She had a successful 52 year career and played in over 40 pantomimes between 1905 and 1957. Early career Ward was born in Aston (now part of Birmingham), Warwickshire, on 26 April 1890, to Eliza (née Millichamp, 1867–1946) and Edwin Ward (1866–), a wholesale bottler. When she was 14 she was taken to see ''Jack and the Beanstalk'' with Ada Reeve as the principal boy, and from that moment she decided on a career in pantomime. She made her stage début at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham in 1905, aged 15, playing Zenobia in the pantomime ''Bluebeard''. Guadalupe Natalia Tovar (27 July 1910 – 12 November 2016), known professionally as Lupita Tovar, was a Mexican-born American actress best known for her starring role in the 1931 Spanish-language version of '' Drácula'', filmed in Los Angeles by Universal Pictures at night using the same sets as the Bela Lugosi version, but with a different cast and director. Ada Williams (June 2, 1913 – August 12, 1975) was an American film actress. Biography She was the daughter of Calvin Williams of Knoxville, Kentucky. In 1927, she won the Miss Florida beauty contest, and became first runner-up in the Miss United States contest. Her film career began with a role was in ''Joy Street'' (1929) for the William Fox Film corporation. As she was 16 at the time, her contract needed to be validated by the California court system. She was chaperoned by her mother, A. G. Williams. In 1929, at the age of 18, she was married to William Thomas Ince, a son of a movie producer. She took the name Ada Ince, which appeared in her subsequent film credits. They were divorced in 1934. The following year, she was married to Ray Dodge, a middle-distance runner who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics. Their daughters were named Diana Ada and Darlene Rae Dodge.
