Jovana Stevanović
Jovana Stevanović (born 30 June 1992) is a Serbian professional volleyball player who won the 2016 Summer Olympics silver medal with the Serbia national team. Until 2022 she played for the Italian club Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio and will play for Vero Volley Monza in the season 2022–2023. Career In 2016, she won the silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics with the national team and the silver medal at the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship with Pomi Casalmaggiore. She was selected to play the Italian League All-Star game in 2017. Volleyball Casalmaggiore is an Italian women's volleyball club based in Casalmaggiore and currently playing in the Serie A1. Previous names Due to sponsorship, the club have competed under the following names: * VBC Pallavolo Rosa (2008–2009) * VBC Pomì (2009–2010) * Pomì Casalmaggiore (2010–2019) * VBC Èpiù Casalmaggiore (2020–present) History The club was founded in 2008 by the acquisition of a Serie B2 licence from Pallavolo Zevio. The club was named , VBC is the acronym for Volley Ball Casalmaggiore. As the club progressed through the national leagues, the home venue was changed to comply with league regulations and accommodate a larger number of supporters. 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the fourth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, an annual women's international volleyball tournament. The competition was held from 31 May to 17 July 2022, and the final round took place in Ankara Arena, Ankara Turkey. Belgium were the last placed challenger team after the preliminary round and will be replaced by 2022 Challenger Cup winners Croatia in the 2023 edition. Italy claimed their first VNL title after defeating Brazil in straight three sets. Brazil took their third silver medal, consecutively. FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of the ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The first tournament took place between May and July 2018, with the final taking place in Nanjing, China. United States won the inaugural edition, defeating Turkey in the final. In July 2018, the FIVB announced that China would host the next three editions of the women's Volleyball Nations League Finals, from 2019–2021, but on March 13, 2020 the FIVB decided to postpone the Nations League until after the 2020 Summer Olympics due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 25th edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 32 teams between 7 July and 6 August. The Group 1 Final Round was held in Nanjing, China. Defending champions Brazil won their record twelfth title in the tournament after a 3–2 win over Italy. Serbia captured their third bronze medal in the competition by defeating China in a rematch of the previous year's Olympic final. FIVB World Grand Prix
The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was an annual women's volleyball competition created in 1993. The men's version of the competition was called World League. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the World Championship, the World Cup and the World Grand Champions Cup. The 2015 FIVB Women's World Cup was held from August 22 to September 6 in Japan. The tournament was a qualification process for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. Initially the tournament was played in the year following the Olympic Games, but since 1991 the World Cup has been awarded in the year preceding the Olympic Games. The current champion is China, which won its fifth title at the 2019 tournament. The current format of the competition involves 12 teams, including the automatically qualifying host nation Japan, competing in the tournament phase for the title at venues within the host nation over a period of about two weeks. The 2015 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 29th edition of the European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball.
