Jovan Atanacković
Jovan Atanacković ( sr-cyr, Јован Атанацковић, 24 March 1848 – 9 August 1921) was a Serbian general and Minister of Defence. Life Born in Negotin, he finished gymnasium in his home town, after which he entered the Serbian Military Academy in Belgrade. Jovan entered the army service as a cadet of the 7th Artillery School on 9 October 1865. He was ranked third in his class when he finished his education in 1870, and then he was made the 1st artillery lieutenant. After he finished the Artillery School he was first made sergeant of the 1st field battery of the Standing Army, on 7 January 1871; he was then made registrar in the Artillery Inspection. From April 1872 he was a commander of the people's battery of Ćuprija, and from 8 April 1874, he was made sergeant in the 1st Artillery Regiment of the Standing Army. Negotin
Negotin ( sr-cyrl, Неготин, ; ro, Negotin) is a town and municipality located in the Bor District of the eastern Serbia. It is situated near the borders between Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria. Dimitrije Cincar-Marković
Dimitrije Cincar-Marković (Šabac, 6 September 1849 – Belgrade, 11 June 1903) was a Serbian politician serving as the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Serbia, army general, Chief of General Staff, professor of war history and strategy. As one of the closest associates of king Milan Obrenović from 1897 to 1900, he made a significant contribution to the great reform, enlargement, and promotion of the army of the Kingdom of Serbia, which enabled its success in the Balkan wars. Dimitrije Cincar-Marković took steps to combat the revolutionaries of the Bulgarian Exarchate who were terrorizing the Serbian population in Old Serbia and Macedonia. Jovan Mišković ( sr-cyr, Јован Мишковић; (Negotin, 18 July 1844 – Belgrade, 2 November 1908) was a Serbian general, Minister of Defence, military theorist, writer and the president of Serbian academy of sciences and arts. Biography Mišković was born in Negotin in 1844, and in 1865 he graduated from the Belgrade Artillery School. During Serbian-Turkish War of 1876–1877 he commanded the Čačak brigade and later on the Užice brigade. In the Second Serbo-Turkish War in 1877–1878, he was Chief of the Operational Department of the Supreme Command and the Timok headquarters. From 1878 to 1880 Miškovič was the new Minister of Defense, known for introducing a new formation and carrying out a partial reorganization of the Serbian army. Dragomir Vučković
Dragomir Vučković (; 1844 – 10 December 1899) was a Serbian colonel who participated in the Serbian-Turkish Wars and the Serbo-Bulgarian War of 1885. As Minister of the Army, he was heavily involved in the modernisation of the Serbian Army. In 1874, he served as an adjutant to Colonel Radovan Miletić before and during the Serbian-Turkish Wars. He then served as Minister of the Army of Serbia in the Ministry of Defence from 11 October 1897 until his death. The Imperial Austrian Order of Franz Joseph (german: Kaiserlich-Österreichischer Franz-Joseph-Orden) was founded by Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria on 2 December 1849, on the first anniversary of his accession to the imperial throne. Classes The order was originally awarded in three classes: ''Grand Cross,'' ''Commander's Cross,'' and ''Knight's Cross.''
