Journal Of Business, Entrepreneurship And The Law
The Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law (JBEL) is a legal periodical published by Pepperdine University School of Law. JBEL, a subset of the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law, began publication in the 2007-2008 academic year. The primary objective of JBEL is to contribute to the body of legal knowledge in the fields of business and entrepreneurship through publication of a high quality and professional periodical. JBEL publishes two issues per year, one each fall and spring semester, containing articles from students, academics, practitioners, lawmakers, regulators, and entrepreneurs in the fields of business law and entrepreneurship. Caruso School of Law (formerly Pepperdine University School of Law) is the law school of Pepperdine University, a private research university in Los Angeles County, California. Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship is the creation or extraction of economic value. With this definition, entrepreneurship is viewed as change, generally entailing risk beyond what is normally encountered in starting a business, which may include other values than simply economic ones. An entrepreneur is an individual who creates and/or invests in one or more businesses, bearing most of the risks and enjoying most of the rewards.The process of setting up a business is known as entrepreneurship. The entrepreneur is commonly seen as an innovator, a source of new ideas, goods, services, and business/or procedures. More narrow definitions have described entrepreneurship as the process of designing, launching and running a new business, which is often similar to a small business, or as the "capacity and willingness to develop, organize and manage a business venture along with any of its risks to make a profit." English-language Journals
English is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family, with its earliest forms spoken by the inhabitants of early medieval England. It is named after the Angles, one of the ancient Germanic peoples that migrated to the island of Great Britain. Existing on a dialect continuum with Scots, and then closest related to the Low Saxon and Frisian languages, English is genealogically West Germanic.
