Joue Pas
"Joue pas" () is a 1989 song recorded by French artist François Feldman as a duet with the American singer Joniece Jamison. It was released in July 1989 as the first single from Feldman's album ''Une Présence'', and was his fifth single overall. It achieved great success, becoming a number two hit and a popular song throughout the years. The song was included on Feldman's three best of compilations ''Two Feldman'' (1996), ''Best Feldman'' (1998) and ''Gold'' (2008). It was also performed during Feldman's 1991 tour and was thus included on the live album ''Feldman à Bercy'' (1992). Lyrics and music Written and composed by François Feldman and Thierry Durbet, "Joue pas" has funky sonorities, starts with a brief guitar riff, and was "very well received by the public". It was Feldman's first duet in his career, followed by other two ones with Joniece Jamison, namely "J'ai peur", released as a single in 1991, and "Love platonique" in 1996. François Feldman
François Feldman (; born 23 May 1958) is a French singer. He had a great success in the 1980s and the 1990s in France. Biography The young François Feldman spent his adolescence listening to soul music, including songs by Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and James Brown, among other artists. His father gave him his first guitar at 14 and François won first prize several times in the radio contests he entered. He also created his first group at 14 and appeared in a few clubs. In 1980, Feldman recorded his first song, "You Want Every Night", then "Ma Petite Vidéo" in 1982, "Folle sur les bords" in the summer of 1983, "Wally boule noire" and "Obsession" in 1984, and finally "Amour de corridor" in 1985, but all these singles remained unsuccessful. In 1986, he became famous with his song "Rien que pour toi" which reached number 12 on the SNEP Singles Chart and sold 200,000 units. "Lambada", also known as "Chorando Se Foi (Lambada)" or "Llorando Se Fue (Lambada)" (both meaning 'crying, he/she went away' in Portuguese and Spanish, respectively), is a song by French-Brazilian pop group Kaoma. It featured guest vocals by Brazilian vocalist Loalwa Braz, and was released as the first single from Kaoma's debut album, ''Worldbeat'' (1989). The accompanying music video, filmed on Cocos beach in the city of Trancoso, in the state of Bahia, Brazil featured the Brazilian child duo Chico & Roberta.
