Moe ( ) is a town in the Latrobe Valley in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. It is approximately east of the central business district of Melbourne, due south of the peak of Mount Baw Baw in the Great Dividing Range and features views of the Baw Baw Ranges to the north and Strzelecki Ranges to the south. The Three Stooges were an American vaudeville and comedy team active from 1922 until 1970, best remembered for their 190 short subject films by Columbia Pictures. Moe Pond is a small man-made lake in Otsego County, New York, located northwest of Cooperstown. Moe Pond drains south via Willow Brook, which flows into Otsego Lake. Mount Ovis is located east and Hannah's Hill is located southeast of Moe Pond. The pond was named for Henry Allen Moe, a past member of the New York State Historical Association. Moe Pond was created in 1939.
