José Sulantay
José Manuel Sulantay Silva (born 3 April 1940) is a former football player and manager. He notably managed the Chile national under-20 football team, Chile U20 and Chile national under-17 football team, Chile U17 national team, leading the Chile U20 to a third-place finish at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada. At a FIFA level, Sulantay is Chile's second most successful coach after Fernando Riera. Playing career Sulantay was born in Coquimbo, Chile. He officially debuted with Deportes La Serena in 1957. There, he highlighted as right back or right wing. This allowed him being called to Chile U20, Chilean national U-20 team that participated in the 1958 South American Youth Championship, 1958 South American Championship held in his country. Coquimbo
Coquimbo is a port city, commune and capital of the Elqui Province, located on the Pan-American Highway, in the Coquimbo Region of Chile. Coquimbo is situated in a valley south of La Serena, with which it forms Greater La Serena with more than 400,000 inhabitants. The commune spans an area around the harbor of . Santiago Wanderers
Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. Their home ground, Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander, is in the north-west of the city. Wanderers have played their games there since 1931 after moving from Barrio Puerto. Founded on 15 August 1892, it's the country's oldest club and the oldest football team in Latin America as well. The Copa Chile 1959 was the 2nd edition of the Chilean Cup tournament. The competition started on November 21, 1959 and concluded on December 22, 1959. Fernando Riera
Fernando José Riera Bauzá (27 June 1920 – 23 September 2010) was a Chilean professional football player and manager, patriarch of Chilean football. Career Riera was born in Santiago, Chile. As a footballer, he played for Chile in the 1942, 1947 and 1949 Copa Américas. He also played at the 1950 FIFA World Cup, and managed them on home soil to a third place in the 1962 World Cup. In 1962–63, Riera led Portuguese side Benfica to the Primeira Liga title.champions title. The FIFA U-20 World Cup is the biennial football world championship tournament for FIFA members’ men's national teams with players under the age of 20.
