José Rojas (baseball)
José Rojas (born February 24, 1993) is an American professional baseball infielder in the New York Yankees organization. He attended Fullerton College and Vanguard University. Rojas was selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 36th round of the 2016 MLB draft, and made his MLB debut with them in 2021. He has also played in the KBO League for the Doosan Bears. Amateur career Rojas attended Anaheim High School in Anaheim, California. Undrafted out of high school, Rojas attended Fullerton College in Fullerton, California for two years (2013 and 2014). He then transferred to Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California for his final two years (2015 and 2016) of college baseball. The Salt Lake Bees are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. They are located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and play their home games at Smith's Ballpark. The ballpark opened in 1994 and has a seating capacity of 15,411, the largest in their league. Fullerton ( ) is a city located in northern Orange County, California, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 143,617. Fullerton was founded in 1887. It secured the land on behalf of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. Max Stassi
Max Robert Stassi (born March 15, 1991) is an American professional baseball catcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Oakland Athletics drafted him in the fourth round of the 2009 MLB draft. In 2013, Stassi made his MLB debut with the Houston Astros. The Astros traded Stassi to the Angels in 2019. Amateur career and draft Stassi attended Yuba City High School in Yuba City, California. He played for his school's baseball team, and was twice named ''The Sacramento Bee''s player of the year. The Mobile BayBears were a Minor League Baseball team based in Mobile, Alabama, United States. The team, which played in the Southern League, served as the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres (1997–2006), Arizona Diamondbacks (2007–2016), and Los Angeles Angels (2017–2019). The Inland Empire 66ers of San Bernardino are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. The 66ers are based in San Bernardino, California, and play at San Manuel Stadium. Franchise history The 66ers began when the Salinas Spurs moved to San Bernardino and bought the name of the San Bernardino Spirit from the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes who had just left town. The Orem Owlz were a Minor League Baseball team located in Orem, Utah, United States, from 2001 to 2020.
