José Luis Castillo
José Luis Castillo (born December 14, 1973) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1990 to 2014. Generally considered one of the best lightweights of his era, he is a two-time world champion at that weight, having held the WBC title twice, from 2000 to 2002 and 2004 to 2005; and the ''Ring'' magazine and lineal titles from 2004 to 2005. Castillo is best known for his 2005 fight against Diego Corrales, for which he received Fight of the Year awards by both ''The Ring'' and the Boxing Writers Association of America, as well as his first fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., which ended with controversial scorecards. César Bazán Pérez (born 13 December 1974) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1992 to 2012. He held the WBC lightweight title from 1998 to 1999. Professional career Bazán grew up in Colonia Valle Gómez and turned pro at age 17 to make some money. He made his professional debut on 13 April 1992, defeating Miguel Pérez on points in Mexico City. Herman Ngoudjo (born 25 June 1979) is a Cameroonian-Canadian former professional boxer who competed from 2003 to 2010, and challenged twice for the IBF junior-welterweight title in 2008 and 2009. The referee in boxing is the individual charged with enforcing the rules of that sport during a match.
