José Luis Calderón
José Luis Calderón (born October 24, 1970) is an Argentine former football striker. He played for 17 years between 1989 and 2006 without winning a trophy, but since then, between the ages of 36 and 39 he won four major championships with three teams. Nicknamed ''Caldera'', he is remembered for a 48-metre goal he scored against Boca Juniors in 1999 and for his hat-trick against Estudiantes' derby rivals Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata on October 15, 2006. He retired in 2010, at almost 40 years of age. Club career After a promising spell in the youth system of Defensores de Cambaceres, he was transferred to Estudiantes de La Plata, the team he supported as a child, in 1992. La Plata () is the capital city of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. According to the , it has a population of 654,324 and its metropolitan area, the Greater La Plata, has 787,294 inhabitants. The 2006–07 Argentina Primera Division was the 116th season of first division football in Argentina. Estudiantes (LP) won the Torneo Apertura and San Lorenzo won the Torneo Clausura. Belgrano and Quilmes were relegated to the Primera B Nacional and Huracan and Tigre were promoted after winning the relegation playoff against Godoy Cruz and Nueva Chicago respectively. Marcelo Alberto Bielsa Caldera (, nicknamed ''El Loco Bielsa'' , meaning "The Crazy Bielsa"; born 21 July 1955) is an Argentine professional football manager who was most recently the head coach of Premier League club Leeds United. He is a former player and played as a defender for Newell's Old Boys, Instituto and Argentino de Rosario. Bielsa played as a defender in Newell's Old Boys' First Division team, but retired when he was 25 to focus on coaching. Bolivia hosted the Copa América for the second time in its 38th edition. It was held from 11 to 29 June. It was organized by CONMEBOL, South America's football governing body. There is no qualifying for the final tournament. A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. The shot is taken from the penalty mark, which is 11 m (12 yards) from the goal line and centred between the touch lines. Matías Nicolás Caruzzo (born August 15, 1984 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a defender for Argentine Primera División club Argentinos Juniors. Playing career Club Caruzzo came through Argentinos Juniors youth development system to make his professional debut on March 25, 2006 in a 3–1 away defeat to Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy. Claudio Daniel Borghi Bidos (; born 28 September 1964), nicknamed ''Bichi'', is an Argentine naturalized Chilean football manager and former player who played as an attacking midfielder. The 2009 FIFA Club World Cup (officially known as the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2009 presented by Toyota for sponsorship reasons) was a football tournament played from 9 to 19 December 2009. It was the sixth FIFA Club World Cup and was played in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Australia, Japan and Portugal also placed bids to host the tournament, but Portugal later withdrew from the process. Alejandro Sabella
Alejandro Javier Sabella (; 5 November 19548 December 2020) was an Argentine football player and manager. Born in Buenos Aires, he began his playing career with River Plate in his home country before moving to England in 1978 to play for Sheffield United.
