José Iraragorri
José Iraragorri Ealo (16 March 1912 – 27 April 1983), nicknamed "Chato", was a Spanish football (soccer), footballer who played as an Forward (association football)#Inside forward, inside left. Career Club Born in Basauri, Iraragorri initially played for Athletic Bilbao between 1929 and 1936, during which he won La Liga and the Copa del Rey four times each, as well as five Biscay Championship, regional championships; he was part of a famed forward line with Chirri II, Guillermo Gorostiza, Ramón de la Fuente Leal, Lafuente and Agustín Sauto Arana, Bata. Basauri
Basauri is a major municipality of Biscay, in the Basque Country, an Autonomous Community in northern Spain. The town is a part of the Greater Bilbao conurbation, being only a few kilometers south of Bilbao. It is an industrial town that also includes monuments such as the tower-house of Ariz. It holds the only prison in the province, located where the rivers Nervión and Ibaizabal meet. The municipality has 40,589 inhabitants (2019). The 1934 FIFA World Cup was the second edition of the FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international football championship for senior men's national teams. It took place in Italy from 27 May to 10 June 1934. The 1934 World Cup was the first in which teams had to qualify to take part. Ángel Zubieta Redondo (17 July 1918, died 28 October 1985) was a Spanish football player and manager. Playing career Zubieta was born in Galdakao, Biscay, Basque Country. He started his playing career in the 1935–36 season for Athletic Bilbao at the age of 17. His impressive performances earned him a call-up to the Spain national team in 1936, making him the youngest player ever to play for Spain at the age of only 17 years and 9 months. Later in 1936 the Spanish civil war disrupted his playing career. During the conflict he played for the Basque Country national team. The team undertook a tour of South America and in 1939 Zubieta was signed by Argentine side San Lorenzo de Almagro.
