José Estrada (11 October 1938 – 23 August 1986) was a Mexican film director and screenwriter. He directed 19 films between 1971 and 1985. A film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects and visualizes the screenplay (or script) while guiding the film crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision.
