José Antonio Querejeta
José Antonio Querejeta Altuna (born 19 March 1957) is a retired basketball player of Saski Baskonia, Real Madrid, Joventut Badalona and CAI Zaragoza, and the current president of Vitoria-Gasteiz-based Saski Baskonia since 1988, following the conversion of the club into a S.A.D. From 2013 his Avtibask S.L. group also held a controlling stake in the city's football club Deportivo Alavés. The 2007 Supercopa de España de Baloncesto, or Spanish Basketball Super Cup, was the fourth time that the competition was organized by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB) and the eighth time it was held since it was established. History The Supercopa was created in 1984 by the recently established Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB) in which the league winner faces the cup winner in a single-game final. During its first four editions (1984–1987), the Supercup was also known as Federation Cup, as the tournament was jointly organized by the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB), and it was held in the middle of the regular season.
