Joshuah Bledsoe
Joshuah Bledsoe (born December 30, 1998) is an American football safety for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Missouri. Early years Bledsoe attended Dekaney High School in Spring, Texas. He played safety, cornerback and running back in high school. He committed to the University of Missouri to play college football. College career Bledsoe played at Missouri from 2017 to 2020. During his career, he had 130 tackles, one interception and one sack over 46 games. Professional career Bledsoe was drafted by the New England Patriots in the 6th round, 188th overall, of the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed his four-year rookie contract on May 13, 2021. Safety (gridiron Football Position)
Safety is a position in gridiron football on the American football positions#Defense, defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field. 2020 Missouri Tigers Football Team
The 2020 Missouri Tigers football team represented the University of Missouri in the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Tigers played their home games at Faurot Field in Columbia, Missouri, and competed in the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Non-football Injury List
Non-football injury and non-football illness (NFI) are roster designations used in the National Football League (NFL) for players who are unable to practice as a result of conditions unrelated to football, or injuries that did not occur during NFL games or practices. They are similar to the physically unable to perform and injured reserve lists. Active/NFI Players who report to training camp injured or ill due to injuries or illnesses sustained outside of NFL practices or games can be placed on the active/non-football injury or active/non-football illness lists while they recover. A player cannot remain on an NFI list if they participate in a practice or game during the preseason. Players on these lists still count towards the 90-man roster limits prior to the start of the regular season.
