Joshua Brard
Joshua Brard (born 14 May 1986, in Dordrecht) is a former Dutch professional footballer. He played as a midfielder. Football Brard grew up in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, where he started to play football at ASWH. During his youth he also spent some time in Japan. Joshua's father, Stanley Brard, was also a professional footballer, amongst others at Feyenoord, and had found employment in Japan. Back in the Netherlands Brard signed with Sparta in 2005 where he only made it to the bench. ASWH, short for Altijd Sterker Worden Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, is an association football club from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands. The club was founded in 1929. The club won section championships in 1949, 1959, 1961, 1970, 1883, 1999, 2001, 2002, and 2005. In 2005 it also won the Dutch Championship of Amateur Soccer and the Dutch Championship of Saturday Soccer. VV SHO, or in the long form Voetbalvereniging Steeds Hooger Oud-Beijerland, is a Dutch football club from Oud-Beijerland. It was established on 18 July 1930 and plays on Saturdays.
