Josh Warrington
Josh Warrington (born 14 November 1990) is an English professional boxer. He is a two-time world featherweight champion, having held the IBF title between 2018 and 2022. At regional level, he held the British, Commonwealth, European and WBC International featherweight titles between 2013 and 2017. He made history in 2018 with his win over Lee Selby, making him the first male boxer from Leeds to win a major world title. As of October 2021, he is ranked as the world's fourth-best active featherweight by ''The Ring'', fifth by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and seventh by BoxRec. In 2018, a documentary style movie filmed over two years called 'Fighting for a City' premiered. Tshifhiwa Munyai (born 8 May 1985) is a South African professional boxer who challenged for the WBA super-bantamweight title in 2014. He also held the Commonwealth bantamweight title from 2006 to 2007, and the IBO super-bantamweight title in 2011. Professional career Early career Munyai spent the early part of his career boxing in the townships of his native country South Africa. He had compiled a record of 10-0-1 by the time he left the country to box abroad for the first time as a professional. Scott Quigg (born 9 October 1988) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2007 to 2020. He held the WBA super-bantamweight title from 2013 to 2016, and the British super-bantamweight title from 2011 to 2012. Personal life Quigg started his fight career as a child practising Muay Thai boxing at GFC Muay Thai in Bury. Rendall Munroe (born 1 June 1980 in Leicester, England) is a retired English super bantamweight boxer. Munroe currently resides in Leicester. He is also a former holder of the EBU and Commonwealth Super Bantamweight titles. His dayjob as a binman is well publicised as his nickname is 'The Boxing Binman'. Super bantamweight, also known as junior featherweight, is a weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . There were attempts by boxing promoters in the 1920s to establish this weight class, but few sanctioning organizations or state athletic commissions would recognize it. Hull Arena (originally Humberside Ice Arena and known locally as the Hull Ice Arena) is an ice rink, in the city of Kingston upon Hull, England. It has a capacity of 3,750 people.
