Josh Turnbull
Joshua "Josh" Turnbull (born 12 March 1988) is a Welsh international rugby union player, who currently plays in the Back row and Second row for Cardiff Rugby in the Pro14 league having previously played for the Scarlets, Llanelli RFC and Llandovery RFC. Born in Haverfordwest, Turnbull is a fluent Welsh speaker. Club career Turnbull made his Scarlets debut in 2007, in a pre season friendly against Exeter Chiefs. In June 2014 Turnbull joined Cardiff from the Scarlets. He made 130 appearances for the Scarlets over a seven year period. Ahead of the 2021–22 United Rugby Championship season, Turnbull was named as captain, taking over from Ellis Jenkins. In 2020, Turnbull started coaching at Carmarthen Quins RFC, initially as forwards coach, but moving to defence coach in 2022. Haverfordwest
Haverfordwest (, ; cy, Hwlffordd ) is the county town of Pembrokeshire, Wales, and the most populous urban area in Pembrokeshire with a population of 14,596 in 2011. It is also a community, being the second most populous community in the county, with 12,042 people, after Milford Haven. Second Row (rugby Union)
In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). In addition, there may be up to eight replacement players "on the bench", numbered 16–23. Players are not restricted to a single position, although they generally specialise in just one or two that suit their skills and body types. Players that play multiple positions are called "utility players". Forwards compete for the ball in scrums and line-outs and are generally bigger and stronger than the backs. Props push in the scrums, while the hooker tries to secure the ball for their team by "hooking" it back with their heel. Aaron Shingler
Aaron Craig Shingler (born 7 August 1987) is a Wales international rugby union player and former cricketer. His usual rugby position is flanker. Background Born 7 August 1987, Shingler grew up in the west of Wales, attending Pontarddulais Comprehensive School and Gorseinon Tertiary College. Cricket Before turning to professional rugby, Shingler was a promising cricketer. He bats right-handed and is a right-arm medium-fast bowler. Having played for the previous three seasons in the Second XI, Shingler signed to the senior Glamorgan team for the 2007 season. However, he was released from the club at the end of the season. 2018 Wales Rugby Union Tour To Argentina And The United States
In June 2018, Wales played a two-test series against Argentina as part of the 2018 June rugby union tests. It was Wales's first test series against Argentina since their 2006 tour. The 2016 Wales rugby union tour of New Zealand was a rugby union tour of New Zealand by the Wales national team in June 2016. The 2016 Six Nations Championship, known as the 2016 RBS 6 Nations due to the tournament's sponsorship by The Royal Bank of Scotland, was the 17th series of the Six Nations Championship, the annual northern hemisphere rugby union championship. It was contested by England, France, defending champions Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. 2014 Wales Rugby Union Tour Of South Africa
In June 2014, Wales toured South Africa, playing a 2-test series against the Springboks. In addition to the two Test matches, Wales also played a warm-up uncapped match against domestic club side . The three matches coincided with the June International Window, playing in the second and third week of the window.
