Joshua Michael Thomas (born 26 May 1987) is an Australian comedian, actor and writer. In 2005, he won the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Raw Comedy Competition. He has since appeared on television numerous times, including as a regular and Generation Y team captain on Network Ten's ''Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation''. Blackwater is a rural town and locality in the Central Highlands Region, Queensland, Australia. In the , Blackwater had a population of 4,702 people. It is a town in a significant coal mining area in Central Queensland. The name of the township was inspired by the dark colour of local waterholes. Thomas Ward, also known as Tom Ward, is an Australian actor, writer and comedian best known for his role in the award-winning television comedy-drama series ''Please Like Me'', many episodes of which he co-wrote.
