Josh Ross (singer)
Josh Ross (born 1995/1996) is a Canadian country singer and songwriter. He is signed to The Core Entertainment and Universal Music Group. He has charted with the singles " First Taste of Gone" and " On a Different Night". Early life Ross grew up near Burlington, Ontario, and spent most of his youth playing sports such as hockey, football, soccer, and motocross. He has extended family in Los Angeles and Maine, and visited the United States often as a child. Ross attended University of Western Ontario, Western University on a football scholarship and was a defensive back. He had hoped to play in the Canadian Football League. A series of injuries coupled with two surgeries derailed his football career in university, and he elected to pursue a career in music as a result. Waterdown is a village in Canada which since 2001 has been a community of Hamilton, Ontario. Waterdown is approximately 60 km west of downtown Toronto. On January 1, 2001 the new city of Hamilton was formed from the amalgamation of six municipalities: Hamilton, Ontario, Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Glanbrook, and Stoney Creek. Before amalgamation, the "old" City of Hamilton had 331,121 Hamiltonians divided into 100 neighbourhoods. The new amalgamated city has 490,268 people in over 200 neighbourhoods. Waterdown was created from that part of East Flamborough Township on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, just east of the junction of King's Highways Nos. 5 and 6, traditionally known as Clappison's Corners. The 109th Grey Cup decided the Canadian Football League (CFL) championship for the 2022 season. The game was played on November 20, at Mosaic Stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan. It marked the fourth Grey Cup game to be held in Regina, and the first to be held at the new Mosaic Stadium as opposed to Taylor Field.
