Josh Robinson (cornerback)
Joshua Robinson (born January 8, 1991) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football for the University of Central Florida and earned numerous Freshman All-American honors in 2009. He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, and Jacksonville Jaguars. Early years Robinson attended Plantation High School in Plantation, Florida. He played wide receiver, running back and cornerback for the Colonels. He was coached by Steve Davis. As a junior, he posted 15 catches for 286 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 136 yards and amassing three touchdowns on kick returns. He recorded 18 receptions for 364 yards during an injury-filled senior year. He was selected for the Dade-Broward All-Star Game Robinson was also a standout athlete for the school's track team. Joshua Devonte Robinson Sr. (born August 24, 1992) is an American football running back for the Tulsa Oilers of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played college football at Mississippi State Bulldogs football, Mississippi State, and was drafted by the Colts in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Early years Robinson attended Franklinton High School (Louisiana), Franklinton High School in Franklinton, Louisiana, where he was a two-sport athlete in both football and track. He helped lead his team to the Louisiana 4A State Championship. He was picked by Louisiana Sports Writers Association to the First-team All-State 4A squad. He was named Honorable Mention on the Baton Rouge Advocate’s statewide 2011 Super Dozen. Josh Robinson (born March 13, 1996) is an American professional basketball player. High school and college career Robinson was a stand-out scorer for St. Mary's High School, averaging 35.8 points a game as a senior en route to Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year (by the Archdiocesan Athletic Association Large Division) honors. Mostly coming off the bench, he averaged 9.9 points per contest in his freshman year (2014–15) at Austin Peay. He increased his scoring output as a sophomore, pouring in 16.9 points a game for the Governors, making 72 triples on the season, while pulling down 3.1 rebounds and handing out 2.6 assists per outing. As a junior, Robinson scored 20.3 points per game, having converted 71-of-194 from beyond the arc. He also averaged 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds per contest.
