Josh Richards (racing Driver)
Joshua Richards (born March 22, 1988) is an American professional stock car racing driver from Shinnston, West Virginia. He currently competes full-time in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, in the No. 1R Rocket Chassis for Boom Briggs Racing, where he has been a champion in 2009, 2010, 2013, and 2016. Richards was also a champion in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2017. Richards has raced on asphalt. He competed in the ARCA Racing Series, NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and peaked with 14 starts in the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series. Racing career NASCAR and ARCA Richards raced in eight NASCAR Truck races in 2011 with a top finish of thirteenth at Talladega. In 2012, he raced in one Truck race and fourteen Nationwide races. Shinnston, West Virginia
Shinnston is a city and former coal town in Harrison County, West Virginia, United States, along the West Fork River. In 1778, Levi Shinn constructed his log home along what is now Route 19; today it is the oldest standing structure in north-central West Virginia. As of the 2020 census, Shinnston had a population of 2,332. History The roots of Shinnston date back to 1778, when Levi Shinn constructed his log home. The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, road courses, and dirt tracks. Go Green Racing is an American professional stock car racing team that is currently on hiatus in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The team debuted in NASCAR competition in 2009, competing in the Nationwide Series, before adding a part-time Sprint Cup Series team in 2012. The team, which raced with 14 different drivers in the 2011 season, is headquartered in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, but operates from a shop in Mooresville, North Carolina. Eldora Speedway (nicknamed "The Big E", "Auto Racing's Showcase Since 1954," and "The World's Greatest Dirt Track") is a high-banked clay dirt oval. Daytona International Speedway
Daytona International Speedway is a race track in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. Since opening in 1959, it has been the home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR as well as its season opening event.
