Josh Portis
Joshua Allen Portis (born July 14, 1987) is an American former professional football quarterback. He was highly touted as one of the nation's top dual-threat quarterback prospects out of high school. Portis attended the University of Florida for one season and then transferred to the University of Maryland. In 2009, he transferred again to Division II California University of Pennsylvania, where he set school records with 3,421 passing yards, 36 touchdowns and 3,870 total offensive yards throwing. Portis was signed by the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL) as an undrafted free agent out of college in 2011. He was also a member of the Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the Washington Valor of the Arena Football League (AFL). The Oregon Ducks football program is a college football team for the University of Oregon, located in the U.S. state of Oregon.
