Josh Myers (American Football)
Joshua David Myers (born July 16, 1998) is an American football Center (gridiron football), center for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State Buckeyes football, Ohio State, and was drafted by the Packers in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early life and high school career Myers was born in Dayton, Ohio and grew up in Miamisburg, Ohio, and attended Miamisburg High School. He was named first-team Division II All-State as a junior and senior and also played in the 2017 All-American Bowl (high school football), All-American Bowl. College career Myers redshirted his true freshman season as he moved from guard to center. All-American Bowl (high School Football)
The All-American Bowl is a high school football all-star game, held annually at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Typically played in January, the All-American Bowl is played between all-star teams representing the eastern and western United States. Seventeen All-Americans have been Heisman Trophy finalists, with over 450 later playing in the National Football League. Notable alumni include: Andrew Luck, Adrian Peterson, Odell Beckham Jr., Eric Berry, Tim Tebow, Joe Thomas, Tyron Smith, Robert Quinn, C. J. Mosley, DeMarco Murray, and Chase Young. The 2021 season was the Los Angeles Chargers' 52nd season in the National Football League (NFL), their 62nd overall, their sixth in the Greater Los Angeles Area, their second playing their home games at SoFi Stadium and their first under head coach Brandon Staley. They improved upon their 7–9 season from the previous year after a win over the New York Giants, finishing 9–8 but narrowly missing the playoffs for the third consecutive season after a Week 18 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. In that game, they were beaten by a field goal as time expired in overtime when a tie would have put both teams in the playoffs. Corey Michael Linsley (born July 27, 1991) is an American football center for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State. Linsley was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. High school career A native of Boardman, Ohio, Linsley attended Boardman High School, where he earned first-team All-Federal League, All-Northeast Ohio and second-team All-Ohio honors. He served as a team captain as a senior. He was named to SuperPrep's Midwest Top 30.
