Josh Jones (safety)
Josh Jones (born September 20, 1994) is an American football safety for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at NC State, and was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars. Early years Jones attended Southfield High School in Southfield, Michigan for his freshman and sophomore years and then spent 11th and 12th grade at Walled Lake Western High School in Walled Lake, Michigan. He played defensive back and running back. He committed to NC State University to play college football. College career Jones played at NC State from 2013 to 2016. After redshirting in 2013, Jones saw his first action in 2014 and had 56 tackles and four interceptions. As a sophomore, he had 64 tackles and one interception. Jack Zephania Tocho (born November 2, 1995) is an American football safety who is a free agent. He played college football at North Carolina State University, and was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Early years Born in Gastonia, North Carolina, Tocho started playing football at age eight. He attended Independence High School, where he played cornerback, running back and safety for coach Bill Geiler. Matthew Dayes (born September 3, 1994) is a former American football running back. He played college football at NC State. He was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL draft. Early life Dayes attended and played high school football at Cypress Bay High School. 2017 NFL Draft
The 2017 NFL Draft was the 82nd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible American football players. It was held in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on April 27–29, returning to Philadelphia for the first time since 1961. The player selections were announced from an outdoor theater built on the Rocky Steps, marking the first time an entire NFL draft was held outdoors.
