Josh Green (footballer)
Joshua Green (born 24 August 1992) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Brisbane Lions and Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early career Born in Tasmania, Green developed his skills while playing under age football for Sorell. He would later join Clarence. He became a dual premiership player with the club, playing in the 2009 and 2010 premiership teams. In 2010 he won the Davidson Medal as the state's best Under-18 player at the AFL Tasmania State Academy. He captained Tasmania in the national under-18 championships and was named in the 2010 All-Australian Under 18 team. AFL career drafted him with pick 32 in the 2010 AFL draft. After playing five games in the reserves for the Brisbane Lions, he was selected to play in round 9 of the 2011 AFL season against North Melbourne at the Gabba. The AFL Tribunal is the disciplinary tribunal of the Australian Football League (AFL), an Australian rules football competition. The Tribunal regulates the conduct of players, umpires, and other officials associated with the AFL and its clubs. Points system Prior to 2005, any player who was reported would face a hearing at the AFL Tribunal. This process had become problematic, and in 2005, a new system (similar to that used by the NRL Judiciary at the time) was adopted. The 2018 JLT Community Series was the Australian Football League (AFL) pre-season competition played before the 2018 home and away season. It featured 18 matches across 16 days, reducing each team's games played from three to two, seemingly to create space for AFLX events. For the fifth year in a row, the competition did not have a grand final or overall winner. 2018 was also the first pre-season competition played without the nine-point super goal, since its inception in 2003.
