Josh Gates (born August 10, 1977) is an American television presenter and television producer. He was the host and co-executive producer of ''Destination Truth'' and '' Stranded'' on Syfy, and currently hosts and co-executive produces The Discovery Channel (and former Travel Channel) series '' Expedition: Unknown'' and also ''Legendary Locations''. He is also known as the host of multiple live specials for, and a guest investigator on, the television series '' Ghost Hunters'' and its spin-off ''Ghost Hunters International''. He produces the related '' Ghost Nation'' series along with other paranormal television shows through his production company Ping Pong Productions. Manchester-by-the-Sea (also known simply as Manchester, its name prior to 1989) is a coastal town on Cape Ann, in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. The town is known for scenic beaches and vista points. According to the 2020 population census, the population is 5,395. The town lies on the southern side of Cape Ann, at the point where the peninsula meets the mainland. The North Shore was populated by the Agawam people prior to European settlement, which began in 1629, about a decade after an epidemic killed much of the native people. Alcatraz Island () is a small island in San Francisco Bay, offshore from San Francisco, California, United States. The island was developed in the mid-19th century with facilities for a lighthouse, a military fortification, and a military prison. Delaware Bay
Delaware Bay is the estuary outlet of the Delaware River on the northeast seaboard of the United States. It is approximately in area, the bay's freshwater mixes for many miles with the saltwater of the Atlantic Ocean. Jason Conrad Hawes (born December 27, 1971) is an American plumber and the co-founder of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), which is based in Warwick, Rhode Island. He is also one of the stars and co-producers of Syfy's '' Ghost Hunters'', which ended its initial run after its eleventh season on October 26, 2016. Rohde was previously a veteran executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, the division of The Walt Disney Company that designs and builds Disney's theme parks and resort hotels. Rohde's formal title was ''Executive Designer and Vice President, Creative.'' Rohde was born in Sacramento, California and raised in Hawaii.
