Josh Nathanial Allen (born December 30, 1991) is a former American football center. He played college football at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and attended Cedar Hill High School in Cedar Hill, Texas. He has been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Hotshots, and Dallas Renegades. Early years Allen played high school football for the Cedar Hill High School Longhorns. He earned first-team all-district honors in 2009 and was selected to play in the Team USA vs. World All-Star Game. He helped lead the Longhorns to the 2008 and 2009 district championships. Joshua Patrick Allen (born May 21, 1996) is an American football quarterback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). Allen played college football at Wyoming, where he was a bowl game MVP and was selected seventh overall by the Bills in the 2018 NFL Draft. After inconsistent play during his first two years, Allen had a breakout season in 2020 when he led the Bills to their first division title and playoff victory since 1995 en route to an AFC Championship Game appearance. Captain Joshua Allen, 5th Viscount Allen (26 April 1728 – 1 February 1816), was an Irish peer. Life The son of Hon. Richard A. Allen and Dorothy Green, and grandson of John Allen, 1st Viscount Allen, he succeeded to the title of 5th Viscount Allen, County Kildare, and its subsidiary titles, on 10 November 1753, on the death of his brother, the 4th Viscount, who had died without issue. He gained the rank of captain in 1758 in the service of the 37th Regiment, under Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick, and fought in the Battle of Minden in 1759.
