Josh Adams (basketball)
Joshua Taylor Adams (born November 16, 1993) is an American professional basketball player who is currently free agent. He played college basketball for the Wyoming Cowboys before playing professionally in Russia, Turkey, China, Australia and the NBA G League. High school career Adams starred at Chaparral High School where he led the Wolverines to a 5A state championship in 2012, his senior season. Adams was named MVP of the tournament. He was also named First Team All-State as well as All Colorado. His junior year, he led Chaparral to the sweet sixteen, and was named First Team All-Continental League. College career Adams played four seasons for the Wyoming Cowboys. In his junior season, the Cowboys won the Mountain West Conference tournament, and he was named the tournament MVP and to the all-tournament team. The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920. Serie A is organised by Lega Basket, which is regulated by the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP). It is the highest-tier level of the Italian league system. Wyoming Cowboys Men's Basketball
The University of Wyoming men's basketball program, which competes in the Mountain West Conference, has a lengthy tradition dating back to 1905. Wyoming won the 1943 NCAA championship under Hall of Fame coach Everett Shelton and behind star guard Ken Sailors, who pioneered the jump shot that is now the standard in basketball. The Mountain West Conference (MW) is one of the collegiate athletic conferences affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) (formerly I-A). The MW officially began operations on January 4, 1999. The Mountain West Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year is a basketball award given to the Mountain West Conference's most outstanding player. The award was first given following the 1999–00 season, the first year of the conference's existence. As of 2022, no player has received the award multiple times. The 2021–22 NBL season was the 44th season of the National Basketball League since its establishment in 1979. A total of ten teams are contesting in the 2021–22 season, which commenced on 3 December 2021. Australian broadcast rights to the season are held by ESPN in the first season of a new three-year deal. All-NBL Team
The All-NBL Team is an annual National Basketball League (NBL) honour bestowed on the best players in the league following every NBL season. The team has been selected in every season since the league's second year in 1980. The All-NBL Team is chosen via a voting system involving the head coach, one assistant coach and the team captain of each team. Voters select their All-NBL First and Second Teams by selecting three 'outside' players and two 'inside' players for each team. Players are then allocated 3 points for being placed into a First Team and 2 points for being placed into a Second Team. These points are then combined, with the Top 10 players making up the First and Second Teams, allowing for an even spread of three 'outside' players and two 'inside' players on each team.
