Joseph Silk (politician)
Joseph Silk (born May 24, 1986) is an American politician and businessman who served as a member of the Oklahoma Senate, representing the 5th district from 2015 to 2020. Silk's district included parts of Atoka, Choctaw, LeFlore, McCurtain, and Pushmataha Counties.http://www.oksenate.gov/Senators/biographies/silk_bio.html He was first elected in a 2014 Oklahoma Senate special election and served half of a term before winning reelection to a full four-year term in 2016. George Burns (American Politician)
George Burns is an American politician from the U.S. state of Oklahoma. A member of the Republican Party, he currently serves in the Oklahoma Senate as the elected member from the 5th District which encompasses parts of Atoka, Choctaw, LeFlore, McCurtain, and Pushmataha Counties. He was first elected in the 2020 Oklahoma Senate election after winning the Republican primary on June 30, 2020, and going on to win the general election on November 3, 2020.
