Joseph Roman
Joseph Spallina Roman (May 23, 1923 – February 6, 2018) was an American actor and gym instructor. He was best known for playing Sgt. Brill on 147 episodes of the American medical drama television series ''Quincy, M.E.'' from 1976 to 1983. Roman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the age of 15 he was a gym instructor for YMCA Philadelphia, and by two years later owned his own gym. Roman appeared in four films with longtime pal and actor, Charles Bronson Charles Bronson (born Charles Dennis Buchinsky; November 3, 1921 – August 30, 2003) was an American actor. Known for his "granite features and brawny physique," he gained international fame for his starring roles in action, Western, and war .... ''Love and Bullets'' is a 1979 action crime film directed by Stuart Rosenberg. and starring Charles Bronson, it is based on a screenplay by Wendell Mayes and John Melson. The film was originally to have been directed by John Huston and advertisements were taken out in ''Variety'' to promote this fact. Huston apparently did film some scenes but walked off the set after disagreements with the producers. Veteran director Rosenberg stepped in on the troubled production. The resulting movie received almost-unanimously poor reviews. ''You Again?'' is an American sitcom television series that aired for two seasons on NBC from February 27, 1986, to January 7, 1987. It was based on the British show ''Home to Roost''. Synopsis Jack Klugman stars as Henry Willows, a man still embittered from his divorce ten years earlier, who had made no effort to see his son Matt (John Stamos) during that time. Henry had become fairly comfortable with his life as a supermarket manager and was not really looking to make major changes to it when Matt arrived looking to stay with his father, whom he hardly knew anymore. Matt was an ill-mannered but quite attractive youth who was very popular with the girls. He drove the gruff Henry almost over the edge, but of course in the end familial ties conquered all differences in sitcom tradition.
