George Childs School
George W. Childs Elementary School is a K-8 school located in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is part of the School District of Philadelphia, and the historic building it occupies previously housed the Jeremiah Nichols School and Norris S. Barratt Junior High School. The current school building was built in stages. The first building was designed by Henry deCourcy Richards in 1908. An expansion was built in 1926–1927 and was designed by Irwin T. Catharine. The Richards building is a three-story, three-bay, brick building on a raised basement in the Late Gothic Revival-style. Watson Comly School
Watson Comly School, also known as Somerton Masonic Hall, is a historic school building located in the Somerton neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Built in 1892–1893, it is a two-story, four-bay, brownstone building in the Colonial Revival style. It features a one-story stone entrance pavilion and large hipped roof with stone chimney. Francis Michael Durango Magalona (October 4, 1964 – March 6, 2009), also known by the moniker Francis M, was a Filipino rapper, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, actor, and television personality. Born in Manila, He became a significant influence to artists in the Pinoy hip-hop scene and the local rap community.
