Joseph Amiel
Joseph Amiel (born June 3, 1937, New York City) is an American attorney, novelist and screenwriter. He attended the Fieldston School in New York City and graduated from Amherst College in 1959; he received an LL.B. degree from Yale Law School in 1962. The Archives and Special Collections at Amherst College holds his papers. Ethical Culture Fieldston School (ECFS), also referred to as Fieldston, is a private independent school in New York City. The school is a member of the Ivy Preparatory School League. The school serves approximately 1,700 students with 480 faculty and staff. Joe Algrant is the Head of School. The school consists of four divisions: Ethical Culture, Fieldston Lower, Fieldston Middle, and Fieldston Upper. Amherst College ( ) is a private liberal arts college in Amherst, Massachusetts. Founded in 1821 as an attempt to relocate Williams College by its then-president Zephaniah Swift Moore, Amherst is the third oldest institution of higher education in Massachusetts.
