Josef Miner (15 July 1914 in Breslau, German Empire – 1944 in Huși, Romania) was a German boxer who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics. In 1936 he won the bronze medal in the featherweight class after winning the third-place bout versus Hungary's Dezső Frigyes. Boxing has been contested at every Summer Olympic Games since its introduction to the program at the 1904 Summer Olympics, except for the 1912 Summer Olympics in Stockholm, because Swedish law banned the sport at the time. The 1936 Summer Olympics (German: ''Olympische Sommerspiele 1936''), officially known as the Games of the XI Olympiad (German: ''Spiele der XI.
