Jose Davis (born July 29, 1978) is a former arena football quarterback. Davis attended Kent State University, where he played football. High school years Davis attended Bellaire High School in Bellaire, Ohio and was a student and a letterman in football, basketball and baseball. He was an All-State selection in both, football and basketball. College Davis attended Kent State University from 1996 to 1999 and was a three-year starter. He left the Kent State Golden Flashes holding every school career and single-game passing and total offense record in school history. He set a conference record in 1997 by throwing for 551 yards in a loss to Daunte Culpepper's Central Florida Knights. 2009 NFL Draft
The 2009 NFL Draft was the seventy-fourth annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. The draft took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, New York, on April 25 and 26, 2009. The draft consisted of two rounds on the first day, starting at 4:00 pm EDT, and five rounds on the second day, starting at 10:00 am EDT. To compensate for the time change from the previous year and in an effort to help shorten the draft, teams were no longer on the clock for 15 minutes in the first round and 10 minutes in the second round. Nate Charles Davis (born May 25, 1987) is an American football quarterback for the San Diego Strike Force of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL draft. He played college football at Ball State. College career As a starter for all of his three seasons at Ball State, Davis set the team's all-time record for touchdown passes in a season with 30 during the 2007 season. Daunte Rachard Culpepper (born January 28, 1977) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons, primarily with the Minnesota Vikings. He played college football at UCF and was selected by the Vikings in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft. A three-time Pro Bowl selection during his seven seasons with the Vikings, Culpepper's most successful season came in 2004 when he set the single-season record for the most total yardage produced by an NFL quarterback.
