Josanne Potter
Josanne Potter (born 13 November 1984) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder, most recently for Reading. Originally a left-winger, she matured into a creative central midfield player. At club level Potter enjoyed three separate spells at Birmingham City Ladies and was noted for her crossing abilities and goalscoring record. She played in three FA Women's Cup finals – with Arsenal in 2004, Charlton Athletic in 2007 and Birmingham City in 2012. On the international stage, she often had to compete with Rachel Yankey and Sue Smith for a place on the left flank of the England team. After 2007 Potter worked as a BBC television football pundit. 2012 FA Women's Cup Final
The 2012 FA Women's Cup Final was the 42nd final of the FA Women's Cup. 276 clubs competed for the years trophy. The winners did not qualify for the UEFA Women's Champions League. Birmingham City Ladies, beat Chelsea Ladies 3–2 in a penalty shoot-out after a 2–2 draw in the final at Ashton Gate. The match was televised live by Sky Sports 2. The channel's decision to switch the transmission of the penalty shoot-out to behind the red button was criticised and described as embarrassing. The attendance of 8,723 was the lowest at the FA Women's Cup final since 2005. ''She Kicks'' is a women's football magazine and website published bBaltic Publications Produced bi-monthly, costing £4.25, and at 64–72 pages long, it published FIFA Women's World Cup special editions in 2011 and 2015 and a 20th anniversary special edition in November 2016. Kirsty Linnett
Kirsty Ann Linnett (born 24 September 1993) is an English former professional footballer who last played as a forward for Liverpool. Linnett also played for Birmingham City, Notts County and Reading at club level, and she represented England on the U-15, U-17, U-19, and U-23 national teams. Club career A Leicester native, Linnett joined local grassroots club Leicester City at the age of ten. She left for Arsenal at the age of 16, but two successive knee injuries kept her out of action for two years. A move to Birmingham City went through in December 2012, where she remained for four seasons and got her first taste of UEFA Women's Champions League action. The FA WSL Spring Series was an interim edition of the FA WSL between the sixth and seventh full seasons. The Spring Series ran from February to May 2017 to bridge the gap from the 2016 FA WSL season which ran from March to September as a summer tournament, and the 2017–18 season which started in September 2017. While the 2017–18 season planned to feature 21 clubs, the Spring Series contained 20. Notts County Ladies F.C. folded two days before they were due to play their first Spring Series game, leaving 19 teams in total. 2016 FA WSL
The 2016 FA WSL was the sixth edition of the FA WSL since it was formed in 2010. The WSL 1 was expanded to nine teams. The WSL 2 included one team promoted from the FA Women's Premier League for the first time. The season started on 23 March and Chelsea were the defending WSL 1 champions. Jade Ellis Moore (born 22 October 1990) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Manchester United of the Women's Super League. She has previously played in England for Reading, Notts County, Birmingham City, Leeds United and Lincoln City, for Orlando Pride in the National Women's Soccer League, and Atlético Madrid in the Spanish Primera División. David Parker (football Manager)
David Parker (born 27 April 1984) was an English football manager. He was the manager of Birmingham City Ladies in the FA Women's Super League from 2011 to 2017. Aged 26 he became the youngest manager in English football and one of the youngest ever to hold the FA – UEFA A Licence. The Women's Super League (WSL), currently known as the Barclays Women's Super League (BWSL) for sponsorship reasons, is the highest league of women's football in England. Established in 2010, it is run by the Football Association and features twelve fully professional teams. The league replaced the FA Women's Premier League National Division as the highest level of women's football in England, with eight teams competing in the inaugural 2011 season. In the WSL's first two seasons, there was no relegation from the division. The Manor School
The Manor Academy is a co-educational secondary school with academy status in Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire, overseen by and part of The Two Counties Trust. Admissions In 2017 61% of students at the Manor Academy gained a grade 4 or higher in English and mathematics studies. In addition to this, 92% of A-Level students also passed their subjects in 2017.
