Jos Romersa
Jos Romersa (1 November 1915 – 6 November 2016) was a Luxembourgian gymnastics, gymnast who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, Germany. He was born in Dudelange. At the Gymnastics at the 1936 Summer Olympics, gymnastics competition, his best individual finish was 58th in the Vault (gymnastics), horse vault. In 2008 he was promoted to the rank of Chevalier in the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and in 2015 he centenarian, turned 100. He died in Dudelange on 6 November 2016 at the age of 101. The 1936 Summer Olympics (German: ''Olympische Sommerspiele 1936''), officially known as the Games of the XI Olympiad (German: ''Spiele der XI. Olympiade'') and commonly known as Berlin 1936 or the Nazi Olympics, were an international multi-sport event held from 1 to 16 August 1936 in Berlin, Germany. Berlin won the bid to host the Games over Barcelona at the 29th IOC Session on 26 April 1931.
