Jorunn Johnsen (24 November 1905 – 1 May 1984) was a Norwegian journalist. Johnsen studied in Berlin and Oslo, and worked three years at '' Christianssands Tidende'' before being hired at ''Aftenposten'' in 1936, where she reported for the rest of career. Johnsen specialized in reporting on social issues. Jorunn Økland (born 1964) is a Norwegian gender studies expert and biblical scholar with a background in Classics. She is currently Director at the Norwegian Institute at Athens (from 2016) and Professor of Gender Studies in the Humanities at the University of Oslo (from 2007), and former Director of its Centre for Gender Research (2010-2013). Jorunn Ringstad (3 September 1943 – 12 September 2018) was a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. She was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Sogn og Fjordane in 1993, and was re-elected on two occasions. Jorunn Kaiander Sundgot-Borgen (born 18 March 1961) is a Norwegian professor of sports medicine. She took the MSc degree at the Arizona State University in 1985, and the dr.scient. degree at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences in 1993.
