Jort Kelder
Jort Kelder (born 22 September 1964) is a Dutch journalist, television presenter and former editor of the magazine ''Quote''. In the 2018-2019 season, he presented the Sunday discussion program Buitenhof for AVROTROS as a replacement for Pieter Jan Hagens; in 2019 he was the presenter on behalf of the VPRO, until a successor was found for Diana Matroos. Kelder presented various television programs which include ''Hoe heurt het eigenlijk?'' and ''Bij ons in de PC''. As of August 2019, he is one of the presenters of '' Buitenhof''. He also presents the show '' Dr. Kelder & co'' on radio. On May 29, 2020, it was announced that Kelder had won the sixth edition of the Pim Fortuyn Prize. ''Quote'' is a Dutch magazine with editorial offices based in Amsterdam, notable for publishing the '' Quote 500'', a list of the 500 wealthiest people in the Netherlands together with their relative financial position, similar to the list produced by ''Forbes''. ''Quote'' is published monthly and provides information about business, money, careers, networks and lives of people at the top. In December 1999, the magazine was named "Magazine of the Year" by the ''Nederlandse Uitgeversbond'' (Dutch Publishers Association). ''Buitenhof'' is a Dutch political interview programme produced by AVROTROS, BNNVARA and VPRO Netherlands Public Broadcasting and is broadcast on NPO 1 on Sunday afternoons, immediately after the short midday edition of NOS Journaal. The first edition of Buitenhof aired on 3 September 1995, when it succeeded the interview programme ''Het Capitool''. The programme takes its name from the Binnenhof, The Hague, which includes a place Buitenhof (lit. outer court). The ''Pim Fortuyn Prize'' ( nl, Pim Fortuynprijs) has been an annual political award in the Netherlands which has been held since 2015. It is named after the late politician Pim Fortuyn. According to the organizers, the award is intended for nominees who are "opinion makers, administrators or politicians who fight for free speech, dare to break through taboos and take a position in the social debate." Georgina Carolina Verbaan (born 9 October 1979) is a Dutch actress and singer. Verbaan is best known for her recurring role in soap opera ''Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden''. Lauren Verster (born 27 April 1980) is a Dutch programme maker and television presenter. Early life Verster was born in 's-Hertogenbosch. During high school, she worked at the local radio station Boschtion. In addition to her work as a (news) presenter, she also worked on youth programmes. After enrolling in an atheneum she moved to Amsterdam. While studying News and Information at the University of Amsterdam, she was taught regional broadcasting in North/West television and local broadcasting in Amsterdam, including filming, editing and presenting.
