Jorja Alice Smith (born 11 June 1997) is an English singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Walsall, West Midlands, she has been writing songs since the age of 11. In 2012, Smith's friend uploaded her cover of Labrinth's "Earthquake" to YouTube, which led to her discovery by record producer Guy Moot. After her first two singles received broader recognition, she signed with Sony/ATV in 2016, releasing two EPs throughout 2016 and 2017. Jorja Leap is an American anthropologist and adjunct professor in the social welfare department at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is also Director of the Health and Social Justice Partnership at UCLA and is a nationally recognized gang expert. Jorja Chalmers is an Australian saxophone and keyboard player who has toured globally with accomplished bands and performers such as Bryan Ferry, Take That and the Ting Tings. When Ferry's band, Roxy Music, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Ferry's speech noted Chalmers' contributions to the band. Chalmers has been described as someone who "steals the show, blasting out the sax lines with a refreshing brashness." Chalmers was born in Sydney in 1972 and studied at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Jorja Kay Fleezanis (March 19, 1952 – September 9, 2022) was an American violinist and the Henry A. Upper Chair at Indiana University. Fleezanis grew up in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Greek immigrants. A graduate of Cass Technical High School, she studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Cincinnati Conservatory and later won a position in the Chicago Symphony. Fleezanis was concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra from 1989 to 2009—the longest-tenured concertmaster in the orchestra's history and only the second woman in the U.S. to hold the title of concertmaster in a major orchestra when appointed. ''Got What It Takes?'' is a British talent show that began airing on CBBC on 6 January 2016. Originally presented by Lauren Platt for the first three series, ''Got What It Takes?'' has been hosted by Anna Maynard since 2018. In 2021, Melvin Odoom joined Maynard as a co-host. The series sees contestants compete against each other in challenges such as writing songs, performing for celebrity guests and learning choreography. Jorgjia Filçe-Truja (20 January 1907 – 22 June 1994) was an Albanian soprano. She was one of the icons of the Albanian urban lyrical music, and one of the main contributors for the establishment of the Academy of Arts of Albania.
