Jorge Wilstermann International Airport ( es, Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Wilstermann, ) is a high elevation international airport serving Cochabamba, the capital of the Cochabamba Department of Bolivia. The facility is named after Jorge Wilstermann, an early Bolivian commercial aviator. Operators On 1 March 1997 the Government of Bolivia entered into a 25-year contract with Airport Group International to operate the three largest airports in Bolivia – El Alto International Airport in La Paz, Jorge Wilstermann Airport and Viru Viru International Airport in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Servicios de Aeropuertos Bolivianos Sociedad Anonima (SABSA) was created to operate the concession. In 1999 Airport Group International was purchased by TBI plc and, in 2004, Spain's Abertis/AENA purchased TBI and operated until 2013 when the Government ordered the nationalization of SABSA, the company Airport Group International created. Rurrenabaque Airport
Rurrenabaque Airport is an airport serving Rurrenabaque, a port city on the Beni River in the Beni Department of Bolivia. The airport is northeast of the city. Runway 14/32 was asphalted in 2010. Before, because of the grass runways, no flights could land or takeoff on a rainy day, and delays were usual in the rainy season (December - April). Rurrenbaque is at the base of Bolivia's Cordillera Real mountains, and there is mountainous terrain just south of the airport. Uyuni Airport
Uyuni Airport , also known as Joya Andina Airport, is an airport at extremely high elevation just northwest of Uyuni, in the southwestern Potosí Department of Bolivia. It is close to the Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat. It was opened by the Bolivian president Evo Morales on July 11, 2011. Currently the airport is served by one airline: Boliviana de Aviacion which offers regular flights to and from La Paz and Cochabamba.
