Jorge Santoro
Jorge Santoro Herrmann (died 26 February 2011) was a Brazilian professional football player and coach. Career Born in Belo Horizonte, Santoro moved to South Africa in 1964 to play for Hellenic, and also later played for Highlands Park before retiring due to injuries sustained in a car crash back in Brazil. Upon his return to South Africa, Santoro was active as a coach, working for such teams as Moroka Swallows, Lusitano and Giant Blackpool Giant Blackpool (often abbreviated as Blackpool) were a South African football club. Belo Horizonte (, ; ) is the sixth-largest city in Brazil, with a population around 2.7 million and with a metropolitan area of 6 million people. Football is the most popular sport in Brazil and a prominent part of the country’s national identity. The Brazil national football team has won the FIFA World Cup five times, the most of any team, in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002. Brazil and Germany are the only teams to succeed in qualifying for all the World Cups for which they entered the qualifiers; Brazil is the only team to participate in every World Cup competition ever held.
