Jorge Raschke
Jorge Raschke García (born 12 December 1930 from New York City) is a Pentecostal, Assemblies of God evangelist who is well known for his political opinions as well as for his religious evangelistic events. He is of German (Ashkenazi) and Afro-Caribbean Spanish (Sephardic) descent. Raschke has travelled all over Latin America and the United States preaching, and has held conferences and church services in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and other countries. Raschke has been holding a yearly event, (), for forty-four years. The event is held in September, on Labor Day, at the north entrance of Puerto Rico's Capitol building, and draws thousands of Christians from around Puerto Rico. Pedro Julio Serrano (born October 2, 1974, in Ponce, Puerto Rico) is an openly gay and HIV+ human rights activist and president of Puerto Rico Para Todes, a non-profit LGBTQ+ and social justice advocacy organization founded in 2003. Telegramgate, also known as Chatgate or RickyLeaks, was a political scandal involving Ricardo Rosselló, then Governor of Puerto Rico, which began on July 8, 2019, with the leak of hundreds of pages of a group chat on the messaging application Telegram between Rosselló and members of his cabinet. The messages were considered vulgar, racist, and homophobic toward several individuals and groups, and discussed how they would use the media to target potential political opponents. The leak came in the midst of allegations by former Secretary of Treasury of Puerto Rico, Raúl Maldonado Gautier, that his department boasted an "institutional mafia" that Rosselló was involved in. The leaks also came a year after a previous scandal, dubbed WhatsApp Gate, involving other members of Rosselló's cabinet. Ricardo Antonio Rosselló Nevares (; born March 7, 1979) is a Puerto Rican politician who served as the governor of Puerto Rico from 2017 to 2019. He resigned on August 2, 2019, after protests related to the Telegramgate scandal. He is the son of former governor of Puerto Rico and pediatric surgeon Pedro Rosselló.
