Jorge Andres Mejia (born October 27, 1972) is a Latin Grammy Award nominated Colombian-born American composer, pianist, singer-songwriter and music industry executive as President & CEO at Sony Music Publishing for Latin America and U.S. Latin. Mejia studied at the New World School of the Arts, the New England Conservatory of Music, and the University of Miami. Early life and education Mejia was born October 27, 1972, in Bogota, Colombia, but grew up in Miami, Florida. Jorge studied piano performance first at the New World School of the Arts, then at the New England Conservatory of Music, eventually transferring to the University of Miami to earn his B.A. in piano performance. The London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is a British symphony orchestra based in London. Founded in 1904, the LSO is the oldest of London's orchestras, symphony orchestras. The LSO was created by a group of players who left Henry Wood's Queen's Hall Orchestra because of a new rule requiring players to give the orchestra their exclusive services.
