Jorge Domínguez (politician)
Jorge Manuel Rogelio Domínguez (20 March 1945 – 24 August 2022) was an Argentine politician of the Justicialist Party. He was appointed mayor of Buenos Aires in 1994. The 1994 amendment of the Argentine Constitution changed the status of the city, turning the mayor into an elected office. He ran for the mayoral elections in 1996, and lost to the radical Fernando de la Rúa. He then served as minister of defense for president Carlos Menem to the end of his term of office in 1999. Ricardo Hipólito López Murphy (born 10 August 1951) is an Argentine economist, academic and politician. He served as Minister of Defense and Minister of Economy during the presidency of Fernando de la Rúa. His time at the helm of the economy portfolio lasted only 15 days, as he was forced to leave office after announcing an unpopular austerity plan. Since 2021, he has been a National Deputy elected in Buenos Aires for the Juntos por el Cambio coalition. Oscar Héctor Camilión (6 January 1930 – 12 February 2016) was an Argentine lawyer and diplomat. Born in 1930, he earned a law degree at the University of Buenos Aires in his hometown. Camilión first joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship as chief of staff under the administration of Arturo Frondizi. Camilión then worked for '' Clarín'' from 1965 to 1972. After the 1976 Argentine coup d'état, Camilión was appointed the ambassador to Brazil by Jorge Rafael Videla.
