Jorge Carrascosa
Jorge Carrascosa (born 15 August 1948 in Valentín Alsina, Buenos Aires, Valentín Alsina), also known as ''El Lobo'', is an Argentina, Argentine former Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football)#Full-back, left back. He played club football for Club Atlético Banfield, Banfield, Rosario Central and Club Atlético Huracán, Huracán and represented the Argentina national football team. Career Carrascosa started his career in 1967 with Banfield. He made his debut for Argentina in 1970 and was signed by Rosario Central, where he was part of the squad that won the Nacional championship, Nacional 1971. In 1973, he joined Huracán where he won a second Primera División Argentina, Argentine championship in his first season, the Metropolitano championship, Metropolitano was the clubs first championship since the professionalisation of Argentine football in 1931. Valentín Alsina
Valentín Alsina (December 16, 1802 – September 6, 1869) was an Argentine lawyer and politician. Biography Early life Alsina was born in Buenos Aires and studied law at the University of Córdoba. He occupied diverse posts in government, and had a successful civil career as an advocate and professor of law at the University of Buenos Aires. Political views Under the government of Juan Manuel de Rosas, he had to leave the country, as his liberal ideas did not please the dictator at all. From his refuge in Montevideo, he supported the opposition against de Rosas, both financially and through publications. When Rosas was deposed by Justo José de Urquiza, Alsina returned to Buenos Aires, and he was elected provincial Governor in 1852. ''El Gráfico'' was released in May 1919 as a weekly newspaper, and then turned to a sports magazine exclusively.
