Jordanville Railway Station
Jordanville railway station is a commuter railway station in the suburb of Mount Waverley in the south east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The station opened in 1930 as a part of the extension from East Malvern to Glen Waverley. The station consists of a single island platform which is connected to Winsor Avenue and Huntingdale Road via a pedestrian subway. Jordanville station is currently served by the Glen Waverley line which is a part of the Melbourne Railway Network. Additionally it is served by bus route 767. City Of Waverley
The City of Waverley was a local government area about east-southeast of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia. The city covered an area of , and existed from 1857 until 1994. History Waverley was first incorporated as the Oakleigh Road District in January 1857, which became the Shire of Oakleigh in December 1871. Parts of the Central and South Ridings were severed to create the Oakleigh Borough, which went on to become the City of Oakleigh on 13 March 1891. High Capacity Metro Trains
The High Capacity Metro Train (HCMT) is a type of electric multiple unit (EMU) train for use by Metro Trains Melbourne on the Melbourne rail network.
